Mr Peter Gillespie

| Peter Gillespie graduated with a B.Sc. from University
of New England in 1983, majoring in entomology and worked from 1984-1987
as technical officer at University of NSW where his computer skills were
developed. Peter has been with NSW Agriculture since 1987 associated with
the Collections Unit. As Senior Technical Officer, he is responsible for
management of the insect & mite collections including loans, identification
services and associated activities. Peter has also taken an interest in
the Australian Thysanoptera associated with agriculture and, as joint author
with Laurence Mound, has published a laboratory identification manual*
for economically important Thysanoptera in Australia. He has served the
Entomological Society of NSW Inc. as Circular Editor, Journal Editor and
Producer. |
