| Cecilia is employed on NSW Biotechnology Strategy funding to
undertake data transfer from the specimen collection into electronic format in BioLink.
Cecilia came to ASCU from the Plant Pathology group at the Institute where she worked with
fungal diseases of crops and weeds. Early in her career, Cecilia spent ten years working
in the microbiology section of Orange Base Hospital. |

| Elizabeth is employed on NSW Biotechnology Strategy funding to
undertake data transfer from the specimen collection into electronic format in BioLink.
Prior to her joining ASCU, Elizabeth was employed at various times within the Plant
Pathology and Pasture Agronomy groups at OAI and has also spent time working in Animal
Industries in NSW Agriculture's Head Office. Elizabeth has a M.Sc.Agric. (University of
Prague) specialising in animal nutrition and worked as a senior research assistant in the
International Livestock Centre for Africa (ILCA) in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia). |

| Jennifer joined ASCU in 2002 as part of the databasing group. In
late 2002 she transferred to the monitoring group, working primarily with small hive
beetle samples and statewide monitoring for red imported fire ants. Jennifer has a B.Sc.
degree from the University of Sydney and is also a registered nurse. |

| Grace joined the databasing group in 2002 after working with Ric Cother for six months
recataloguing the bacterial culture collection. Grace has an associate diploma in medical
laboratory science and worked for several years in the microbiology department of Central
West Pathology Services in Orange as a laboratory technician. Grace is also a registered
nurse. |
