ASCU Staff Profile

Andrew Mitchell
Dr Andrew Mitchell
Research Leader, Biotechnology
Wagga Wagga Agricultural Institute

Andrew is a molecular systematic entomologist specialising in Lepidoptera but interested in insect pests and parasitoids in general. Current projects include the higher-level phylogenetics of noctuoid moths and DNA barcoding of economically important insects. Andrew is working with the ASCU on a range of molecular systematics and diagnostics projects.
