Rubria
Stål 1865: 158
Type species: Petalocephala sanguinosa Stål, designated by Evans 1947d: 131 Known species: Four Australian species are known in this genus which differs from all other Australian Ledrini by having normal, non-reticulate, venation on the tegmen. A single African species was placed in this genus by Stål 1866. Comments: There are probably many undescribed species of Rubria in Australia (Evans 1966). The most distinctive species is R. sanguinosa (Stål) which is reddish in colour while other species are green in life, fading to a dull yellow or brownish in collections.
