Type species: Rhotidoides norfolkensis Evans, by original designation Known species: Five species are known from eastern Australia plus R. norfolkensis on Norfolk Island. Comments: The species of this genus are medium sized (8-9mm) thymbrines with the crown narrow and more or less evenly rounded into the face although lacking the extreme convexity found in Macroceps and Mitelloides. Further undescribed species are present in collections and the genus is in need of revision.
