Type species: Platyledra monstrosa Evans, by original designation Known species: The type species, Ledropsella monstrosa (Evans), from Western Australia, is the only known species. Comments:
The shape of the pronotum, in which the central longitudinal carina is
raised posteriorly to form a high crest well above the level of the scutellum,
and the shape of the crown, which widens in front of the eyes before narrowing
to the apex, differentiates this genus from other Australian Ledrini.
