| Genus
Ledraprora
Evans 1937a: 40
Type species: Ledraprora insularis Evans, by original designation Known species: Three species are known, all from southern Australia. Comments: The extraordinary prolongation of the front of the head clearly differentiates species of this genus from other thymbrines. L. insularis, from SA, differs from the other two described species by the process being apically rounded with the lateral margins somewhat sinuate (when viewed dorsally). In L. compressa, from WA, and L. victoriensis from Vic, the process is parallel sided and apically rather pointed. L. compressa has the process diamond shaped in transverse section while in L. victoriensis it is circular in section.
