| Genus
Ezrana
Distant
1908b: 177
Type species: Ezrana pygmaea Distant, by original designation Known species: Ezrana contains two species, the type (from India) and E. primitiva Evans (1969a) from Queensland. Comments:
E. primitiva is similar to many other Australian Ledrini but can
be distinguished by the shape of the crown, which extends considerably
forward before narrowing to the apex, the pronotum, which is raised posteriorly
but not crested, and the scutellum which is not raised posteriorly as in
other genera. In addition, the margins of the clavus are thickened and
raised for a short distance immediately posterior to the apex of the scutellum.
