Anacotis
Evans 1937d: 161
Type species: Anacotis hackeri Evans, by monotypy Known species: Only the type species, from Queensland, is known Comments: Little is known about this small (~12mm) species which was described from Brisbane in SE Queensland. The relatively short labium and the placement of the antennal ledges well in front of the eyes makes it reasonably easy to identify. It is superficially similar to some males of Stenocotis depressa which also has antennal ledges well in front of the eyes but the much longer labium in S. depressa clearly differentiates the two species.
