Type species: Ipoella fidelis Evans, by original designation

Known species: Eleven species are described, covering all the mainland states of Australia.

Comments: Species of Ipoella are similar in appearance to some species of Ipoides and Katipo but can be immediately identified by the presence of a single, well developed hind tibial spur and a lack of other strong tibial spines.
