Type species: Ipelloides macleayi Evans, by original designation Known species: Only the type species, from South Australia, is known. Comments: This tiny species reaches a maximum length of 3.4mm and is therefore smaller than all other ipoines except Iposa fusca from which it can be distinguished by the opaque clavus and the lack of clear transverse striations on the pronotum.
