Genus Cornutipo Evans 1934: 164
Type species: Cornutipo scalpellum Evans, by original designation

Known species: Three species are described: C. tricornis from N.Qld and N. WA, C. scalpellum from eastern Australia and NT and C. bakeri from WA.

Comments: Cornutipo tricornis is the most distinctive and recognisable eurymelid with its three large horns.  C. bakeri combines the head features of the other two species in having a spatulate forward extension of the frontoclypeus, as in C. scalpellum, with the lateral horns also found in C. tricornis.
