Genus Citripo Evans 1934: 161
Type species: Citripo flandersi Evans, by monotypy

Known species: Only the type species, from Queensland, is known

Comments: The species was described from Eremocitrus glauca (native lime, family Rutaceae) and was named in honour of the collector, Professor S. Flanders, who was an eminent worker on citrus entomology in California. The species is distinctively marked with the large white fascia on the tegmen surrounded by an irregular black band with the rest of the tegmen and the dorsum dark brown and finely mottled. The broad band of vertex visible dorsally is unusual in Ipoini. Specimens are not common in collections.
