Genus Salona Stål 1866a: 220

Type species: Cixius panorpaepennis Guérin-Méneville 1838, designated by Stål 1866: 393

Known species: Two species have been placed in this genus, the type from NSW and Tasmania and S. oceanica from Christmas Island.

Comments: S. panorpaepennis may be a senior synonym of Gaetulia koebelei Muir. As noted on the Gaetulia page, all three Australian species placed in Gaetulia may be better placed here.
