Genus Paralasonia Muir 1924: 35

Type species: Paralasonia australis Muir 1924, by monotypy

Known species: Only the type, from Queensland, is described but there are a number of other species known in collections.

Comments: Fletcher (2008) transferred Busas Jacobi from the Ricaniidae to the Gaetuliini and commented that the venation matched that of P. australis. It is probable that Busas and Paralasonia are synonyms but this remains to be confirmed.
