Genus Fletcherobrachys Constant 2006b: 37

Type species: Platybrachys stillata Bergroth 1907, (by original designation)

Known species: Only the type species is known.

Comments: The only species recognised in Fletcherobrachys seems to be associated with arid and semiarid parts of central and Western Australia. It is immediately recognisable among Australian eurybrachids by the coloration of the hind wing, particularly the extensive patch of white. This species exhibits sexual dimorphism with the males slightly smaller than the females and the females bearing a posteroventral process on the mid tibia, this process lacking in males. It is likely that this process is used in spreading the waxy covering on the egg mass (Constant 2006b
