Medler (1988: 88) states that this genus, created for Colgar laraticum var. punctatum Lallemand, differs from Colgar "in head morphology" but does not provide comparative details. The species is unknown to the author of these pages. |

lists the following hosts for Australian species of Colgar: Note: Fletcher (1988) pointed out that the conical extension of the head in Colgar is part of the frons with the anterior margin of the vertex, marked by a transverse line representing an obsolete anterior carina, situated considerably short of the apex of the cone (click HERE to see illustration). The genus is in need of further taxonomic work. |
