Type species Gelastocaledonia monteithi Löcker and Larivière (2006)

Known species: Only the type species is known.

Distribution. New Caledonia

Remarks: This species and Novotarberus jacobii (Muir) are the only Gelastocephalini known in New Caledonia. Gelastocaledonia is included in this key for completeness even though it has not been found in Australia, unlike Novotarberus. which has three Australian species in addition to N. jacobii.
