Genus Parabunda Emeljanov 2005: 20

Type species: Parabunda tasmanica Emeljanov 2005, by original designation

Known species: Only the type species is known.

Distribution: The genus was described from two Tasmanian specimens but a single specimen from Victoria exists.

Comments: Superficially this genus resembles Bunduica Jacobi. However, the pronotum is constricted behind the eyes, the central carina of the frons is distinct and the vertex is slightly concave. Furthermore, Parabunda has a distinct pterostigma of reticulate veins, a feature it shares with Dipsiathus Emeljanov.
