Common Name: none

Subfamily/Tribe: Deltocephalinae: Opsiini

Distribution: Commonly found in low numbers sympatrically with Orosius argentatus in NSW, ACT and Victoria. In Western Australia this species appears to be more common than O. argentatus.

Economic Status: Although not recorded as a vector of phytoplasma diseases, its close relationship both phylogenetically and geographically with O. argentatus, means it has potential as a vector.

Notes: O. canberrensis is normally paler and slightly broader than O. argentatus, although the specimen illustrated here is a particularly pale one.
