Common Name: Melaleuca  Leafhopper

Subfamily/Tribe: Deltocephalinae: Opsiini

Distribution: Qld

Economic Status: Found regularly in Queensland living on swamp paperbark, Melaleuca quinquenervia. Also recorded on grey mangrove, Avicennia marina.

Notes: This species was omitted from Knight's (1970) revision of the genus Hishimonus. The fine reticulated brown pattern on the tegmina is distinctive for the species.
