Vegetables WHITE RADISH Raphinus sativus var. longipinnatus Chinese: Loh Baak | Japanese: Daikon | Korean: Mu | Vietnamese: Cù Cài Massive and long, smooth white root, sold with the leaves attached. Usually 5 cm to 8 cm in width and 30 cm to 50 cm in length, white radish is sold in the market in bunches of 3 roots. The root is consumed raw in salads, cooked in stir-fry, or pickled. Growing conditions: TemperateSydney basin. |
